Georgetown twins enlist in Maine Army National Guard

GEORGETOWN — Brandon and Bryan White of Georgetown enlisted in the Maine Army National Guard.

The twin brothers will receive extensive training to become a “heavy weight vehicle mechanics,” repairing complicated engineer and transportation assets. They will be assigned to the 152nd Maintenance Company after completing advanced individual training, located in Augusta.

Brandon and Bryan will perform repairs and maintenance on electric, diesel and gasoline vehicles — including front-end loader, roll off, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations.

They also will be involved in welding skills, which fabricate special attachments according to blueprints and schematic drawings.

Brandon and Bryan are graduates of Morse High School.

The parents, Tim and Michelle White, reside in Georgetown.
