Jameson Tavern is famous for serving lobster six different ways!! Jameson has been featured on Bobby Flay Food Nation Show for their lobster stew. The new extensive menu boasts fresh Maine seafood, lobster, shrimp, clams and scallops, and all Angus Certified® meats, including Filet mignon, N.Y. Sirloin Steaks, as well as our famous juicy hamburgers.

Join us for lunch, enjoy a Downeast Lobster meal, consisting of half a lobster croissant with piping hot cup of clam chowder. On the dinner menu, enjoy Chicken Marsala or Jameson Filet Oscar.

Our dining areas include a taproom with a full bar, and open air patio, and an elegant dining room and screened porch area, all serving a variety of foods for the whole family. Come in to view lobsters in our new lobster tank.

Jameson Tavern, The Birthplace of Maine is where the papers were signed separating Maine from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is located on Main Street right beside L.L. Bean in Freeport. Banquet facilities are available.
