Ashley Beaulieu scored two goals for the 10-3-1 Greyhounds with Kayla Angelico picking up two assists.
Jill Bradbury also scored two goals with Danielle Frye and Bethany Snow each picking up an assist. Bradbury scored with eight seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime.
Lisbon goaltender Kyrstin Ramich made nine saves, while Kennedy Grover made six stops for the 12-0-2 Bucs.
The Heal Point Standings for Western Maine Class B have Lisbon currently ranked eighth and tentatively scheduled to visit No. 1 York (12-2) for a quarterfinal clash on Oct. 27 or 28.
Freeport girls 1, Cape Elizabeth 7
Kristin Kearney scored three goals as host Cape Elizabeth pulled away in the second half for a Western Maine Conference win.
Down 2-0 late in the first half, Jess Hench scored for Freeport (2-11-1) to get the Falcons within a goal.
“We played a pretty solid first half, and had our chances,” said Freeport coach Elayna Zachko.
In the second half, Kearney scored on a nice feed from Meredith Riker three minutes in, and the Capers scored four goals over the next 17 minutes to put it away.
Freeport goaltender Abby Roney had 11 saves.
“It was a tough season because we didn’t win a lot, but it was a growing experience and I received several compliments from other coaches about how much the girls have improved,” said Zachko. “I had to do a lot of teaching this season, but we only lose one starter, so the girls know what I expect and next season we will work on different things and continue to grow.”
Riker, Abby Armstrong, Emily Donavan and Jennifer Hayashi also scored for Cape Elizabeth.
Cape Elizabeth 4, Freeport boys 1
The host Falcons played their regular-season finale without three starters in dropping a WMC contest to Cape Elizabeth (9-4-1).
“I think we had a rough stretch in the middle of the season where we lost some of our focus, but we bounced back and worked hard, but just couldn’t catch a break,” said Freeport coach Joe Heathco, whose team finished 4-8-2. “We were young this season, and even though we lose some good seniors, including goaltender Sean Enking (12 saves), the future is bright. We’ll bounce back.”
Brock Barrett scored two goals for Cape Elizabeth, and Brian Brett and Paul Wenberg added one goal each. The Capers held a 22-10 shot advantage, and received six saves from netminder Cam Brown.
Charlie Hayes scored his first varsity goal for Freeport.
Hyde-Bath 4, Hyde-Wood. 0
On Saturday, the Hyde School boys varsity soccer team traveled south to play its sister school, Hyde-Woodstock.
After a scoreless first half, the Phoenix offense clicked and scored four consecutive times to get the victory.
Led by Conor Braun and Jon Levitt, the Phoenix defense was able to stymie the Wolf Pack attack during the first half, while Ryan Connolly and Nic Figueroa were midfield standouts.
Bath’s first goal came in the second half when Cody Vickery placed a loose ball in the box past the goalie. Ten minutes later, Wes Freson converted a Connolly pass to make it 2-0.
Late in the game, Figueroa scored back-to-back goals to complete the scoring.
Jake Morrow recorded eight saves for the shutout in his first game in goal.
