Oasis honors helpers

BRUNSWICK — The Oasis Health Network, an organization that provides free health and dental care to people without insurance or of limited means living in the greater Bath-Brunswick area, recently announced a list of their volunteers who will be honored for outstanding service in 2011.

All will receive awards at the Oasis Annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony on May 16 in the Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library.

The award recipients include Maine Optometry’s Michelle Broderick, OD, Todd Hamilton, OD, and Blaine Littlefield, OD; Brunswick Eye Care’s Mark Alexander, OD; Brian Daniels, OD, Nicole C. Shipp, OD, and Walter Schuyler, MD.; Midcoast Eye Associates’ Gregory Gensheimer, MD, Marybeth Ford, MD, Kurt Kelley, MD, Mark Marotto, MD, and Kathryn Beveridge, OD; Foot and Ankle Associates of Maine’s Jessica Buckner, DPM, Brian MacDonald, DPM, Michael Saraydarian, DPM, Barry White, DPM, Lawrence Bossong, DDS; and Whitney Houghton, MD.

Also honored will be Oasis board member Amy Landry, Dr. Gregory Penner, social worker Karen Wainberg and administrative assistant Harry Warren.
