Bath police seek Walgreens drug robbery suspect

BATH —Bath police are looking for a man they say robbed the Walgreens Pharmacy on State Road in Bath early this afternoon, making off with prescription medications.

Police say employees at Walgreens Pharmacy reported that the robbery at 1:55 p.m. After interviewing pharmacy employees and customers in the area, police are looking for an SUV, possibly a Chevy Trailblazer, possibly involved in the robbery. Witnesses said the vehicle was silver or possibly a champagne color.

No plate number was seen.

The suspect is a thin, white male believed to be in his early 20’s with short brown hair and facial hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a green ball cap. The man entered the store and went directly to the pharmacy, threatened the pharmacy employees and demanded prescription medications. 

“He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of prescription medications. The entire event lasted only a few minutes,” a press release issued by the Bath Police Department states.

Police are also searching for and trying to identify a woman they say may have knowledge of the incident.
