WEST HARPSWELL — William “Billy” Randall, age 79, died Saturday February 27, 2016 at Bodwell House, Brunswick, under the loving care of CHANS Home Healthcare and Hospice.

He was born March 15, 1936 in the family home in West Harpswell, the youngest child of Edwin R. and Leila I. Anderson Randall. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School, class of 1954.

When old enough to work and drive, he delivered groceries from Randall’s Family store down on the “Point”. After 15 years of marriage, Mr. Randall became widowed from his first wife, Suzanne Bernier, in 1975. He found love again, and married Heather Halstead Cressey in 1977. Billy and Heather enjoyed many years of traveling and watching auto racing. His fondest memories were those in attendance of the Daytona races, which he shared with several friends, including Bud and Wayne Hurst.

With his first wife, Susanna, he is also predeceased by a brother, John S. Randall.

He is survived by his wife Heather Randall of West Harpswell and their dog, Sadie, one of many German Shepard’s they had over their marriage; a sister, Nancy Cain and her husband Robert of Holden, MA; two nephews, beloved cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be announced in the Spring in the West Harpswell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Harpswell Neck Fire and Rescue, PO Box 8, Harpswell, ME 04079. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
