A Brunswick man was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly assaulting two women and a three-year-old boy.

Police were called to Perryman Drive at 1:36 a.m. Saturday and arrested Thomas Sterling Shell, 26, charging him with two counts of domestic violence assault, aggravated assault, terrorizing and obstructing the report of a crime.

Brunswick Police Cmdr. Marc Hagan said Shell allegedly assaulted the 23- year-old female he was living with and her three-yearold son. The woman sustained a possible broken nose, multiple bruises, cuts and abrasions to her face and body. She was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick where she was treated and released later in the day.

Shell reportedly had kicked the toddler.

In addition, a 30-year-old female also had cuts, abrasions and bruises on her arms and legs. The boy and the 30-year-old were treated at the residence by Brunswick Rescue.

Hagan said Shell was charged with terrorizing for allegedly threatening to kill the 23-year-old victim and her family.

Shell was also charged with obstructing the report of a crime for allegedly taking the 23-year-old’s cell phone when she tried to call for help.

Alcohol was involved in the incident, Hagan said.

Shell was taken to Cumberland

County Jail where no bail was allowed, Hagan said. He is scheduled to appear Aug. 16 in Cumberland County Superior Court.

This was one of two domestic assaults police responded to in as many hours in Brunswick.

Police said they responded to a disturbance early Saturday morning on Katherine Street. Shannon Daniella Remulla, 41, of Brunswick had allegedly been drinking and was kicking and hitting a 42-year-old male family member in front of three children, Hagan said. The male was not injured. Remulla was arrested, charged with domestic violence assault and transported to Cumberland County Jail. She had a cash bail of $250.
