LOS ANGELES – “The Twilight Saga” is gonna need a bigger garage.
It was announced at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards that the supernatural film series has won 41 surfboard-shaped trophies since it launched in 2008, including awards earned this year for the penultimate installment, “Breaking Dawn — Part 1.”

“Twilight” stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were on hand to pick up this year’s batch of boards, as well as the ultimate choice award, the show’s version of a lifetime achievement award.
“It’s amazing you guys are still around and just as strong and just as loyal,” Lautner said over screams from the crowd.
Stewart was honored as the choice romance movie actress and as choice female summer movie star for “Snow White & the Huntsman.”
Other multiple winners included “The Hunger Games,” Emma Stone, “The Vampire Diaries,” Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
“I just feel so honored that I get to have you guys in my life,” beamed Swift.
Teen Choice Awards host and new “The X Factor” judge Demi Lovato said 134 million votes were cast for the 14th annual awards, which honor film, TV, music and sports stars in such silly categories as choice hottie, villain, liplock and hissy fit.
“Are there even that many teens?” asked ceremony co-host and “Glee” actor Kevin McHale.
Bieber won his 12th trophy and performed his tune “Boyfriend,” while his girlfriend and birthday girl Selena Gomez, who won the choice music group trophy, was presented with a cake and a rendition of “Happy Birthday” from the crowd inside the Gibson Amphitheatre.
Other winners on hand to accept their trophies included Ellen DeGeneres for choice comedian, Zac Efron for choice drama actor and drama movie for “The Lucky One” and Jonah Hill for choice comedy movie for “21 Jump Street.”
Hill, who lost the supporting actor Oscar earlier this year to Christopher Plummer, used his acceptance speech to poke fun at the 82-year-old “Beginners” co-star.
“I’d just like to point out that he’s not nominated for anything tonight,” joked Hill, who co-wrote and executive produced the movie.
The Hollywood frolic was televised live on Fox just two days after the midnight massacre at a Colorado movie theater showing “The Dark Knight Rises,” killing 12 and injuring 58. The film wasn’t up for any awards nor was there any reference to the tragedy.
Usher’s stepson, 11, dies from injuries
ATLANTA – The stepson of the Grammy award-winning pop star Usher has died, two weeks after the child was critically injured in a boating accident.
The Willie A. Watkins funeral home in Atlanta confirmed Saturday that it was handling funeral arrangements for 11-year-old Kile Glover. He was a son of Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Kile died Saturday morning at an Atlanta-area hospital.
The boy was run over July 6 by a personal watercraft on Lake Lanier, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. He had been hospitalized with a major brain injury. Lake Lanier is about 40 miles northeast of Atlanta.
Authorities said the accident continues under investigation.
Jackson mom safe, with family, police say
LOS ANGELES – Authorities in Los Angeles say they have located Katherine Jackson and that she is safe and with a family member.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Pope says investigators continue to speak with Jackson’s relatives and gather more information about her whereabouts.
A relative reported the Jackson family matriarch missing Saturday night, but her son Jermaine said Sunday evening that she was with her sister Rebbie in Arizona.
Pope said he does not have details on her exact whereabouts and that investigators are working on the case.
Jermaine Jackson wrote in a statement that his mother was following doctor’s orders to rest and stay away from the phone.
Katherine Jackson, 82, is the guardian of the children of her late son Michael – 14-year-old Paris, 15-year-old Prince Michael and 10-year-old Blanket Jackson – and had not spoken with them in a week.
